Hello! I’m Raquel, a third-year Commercial Photography student at Falmouth University with a deep passion for food photography and a proud connection to my Portuguese heritage. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant flavours and rich traditions of Portuguese cuisine, I developed an early appreciation for the beauty of food and the stories it tells.

During my time at Falmouth, I’ve honed my lighting, composition, and visual storytelling skills, all while exploring the intricate world of food photography. Working with Chefs, restaurants, and brands, I focus on creating images that balance aesthetic beauty with an authentic representation of the culinary experience.
